# Adding Your Signature to Your Account

Some jurisdictions, such as Canada, require a signature as part of the tax receipt. 

At The Chesed Fund, we have you upload a photo of your signature in your account settings page so we can include it on the tax receipt we send on your behalf, if you qualify as a tax deductible organization. 

A simple way to upload your signature is to sign a piece of paper and then upload a photo or scan of it. Scanning has the advantage of looking better and matching the white background of the receipt. 

Another option is to use an [online tool like this one](https://signaturely.com/online-signature/draw/) to create a digital version of your signature, then save it to your computer and upload it to your Chesed Fund account.
